This is twin screw fixed pitch propeller lub oil tanker outfitted and equipped for bunkering and transporting lub oil having flash point above 60 deg C. in bulk and in drums. The hull form is of chine bilge, spoon shape bow, cut up at the aft end and to be of all welded steel construction. The vessel's cargo tank construction shall be double skin.
This design is single screw, diesel electric propulsion double hull Lub Oil Tanker outfitted & equipped for bunkering and transporting LO having flash point above 60OC.
The vessel will be operating as a Lub Oil Tanker for harbour service and will comply with the regulations of the local Government as a harbour craft within the 30 nautical miles limit. The vessel is to be capable of carrying simultaneously six (6) different grades of cargo oil.
This is designed and built as a self propelled oil tanker of about 4000 ton deadweight capacity suitable for carriage of petroleum products having flash point higher than 60 degrees Celsius, max 2 grades (Residual Fuel 380cst and Marine Distillate Fuel DMA). The vessel’s intended trade is for bunker logistics in local port and its adjacent waters up to a radius of 30 nautical miles from country.
The vessel shall be built with 4 (five) pairs of cargo tanks with sufficient cubic volume to stow a minimum of 3,500 metric tonnes of residual fuel oil 380cst grade and 1 (one) pair of slop tanks situated aft of total capacity about 80mt. She shall be fitted with cargo pipes and pumps to properly load, stow & discharge efficiently.
Propulsion shall be by means of twin electric motor driven Azimuth thrusters using Fixed Pitch Propellers. Power shall be supplied by 4 (four) units of similar make/type/model of medium speed marine diesel engines of sufficient capacity (at 85-90% MCR) and arranged/installed/configured for service in the following manner:
This vessel is designed as a double skin ocean going oil product bunker tanker having a continuous freeboard deck from stern to stem with hush decker, forecastle & poop deck, a raked stem with bulbous bow, a transom stern with open water type stern frame, a single rudder and a single fixed pitch screw propeller driven by a medium speed diesel engine with reduction gear.
The cargo/slop tanks shall be divided into five(5) pairs of cargo tanks having double skin and four (4) pairs of double bottom & side water ballast tank.
The cargo tanks/slop tanks shall be suitable for cargo with flash point under 60oC. The engine room to be separated from cargo spaces by means of cargo pump room and marine diesel oil tanks.
The vessel is a single screw motor driven product / chemical tanker with machinery and accommodation located aft, having forecastle and four tiers of deck house. Five (5) pairs of double side skin cargo tanks including one (1) pair of slop tanks with phenolic epoxy coating are arranged. Each cargo hold is provided with a hydraulic deep well pump. Cargo system segregation allows five (6) grades of cargo to be loaded. All cargo piping is of stainless steel. The ship is capable of carrying product oil with
flash point <60oC, palm oil, molasses, benzene, toluene and other IMO II & III chemicals which do not harm the cargo system..Specific gravity is up to 1.55 t/m3.
