MOORING BOAT | CREW BOAT | PILOT BOAT | FAST PETROL CRAFT DESIGN INDIA
MOORING BOAT
The vessel shall be designed and built as a Twin Engine Mooring Boat, with propeller guard, of modern standard design, highest building quality, durability and low cost maintenance. duties, but not limited to : -
|
PILOT LAUNCH BOAT
The Vessel is a Pilot / Mooring launch which is primarily required to support Oil Export Operations at Terminal. The Export Terminal consists of two single point mooring buoys, both of which are fitted with standard OCIMF equipment. She will transfer Pilots from harbour to board Tankers, at the anchorage area , this shall be carried out in sea conditions up to five feet wave height. The launch shall assist with mooring operations of tankers to the offshore SBMs in sea conditions up to eight feet wave height, they should provide adequate protection for the CREW and be capable of handling OCIMF mooring equipment. On occasions the mooring launch may be required for any marine operation for which they are suitable, eg anti-pollution activities, surveys, ferrying QP staff to and from VESSELS . |
FAST PETROL BOAT
CREW BOAT
The vessel is designed as a twin-screw crew boat with a seating capacity for offshore personnel of not less than twenty-four (24). The vessel shall have excellent sea-keeping qualities including personnel comfort and good stability and seaworthiness for safety offshore operation under all weathers in the targeted area. The vessel shall have adequate stability to perform offshore stand-by at offshore up to 8 feet of wave. The vessel shall have clear and flat deck space on aft main deck , without upward restriction, for material loading and the deck shall be well reinforced for loading heavy articles. Propulsion shall be by twin (2) high-speed marine diesel engines, each driving a fixed pitched propeller, through a shaft and a reverse-reduction gearbox. |
SECURITY BOAT
The vessel is designed as a quadruple screw, high-speed Security / Offshore Utility Vessel with excellent sea-keeping qualities including personnel comfort and good stability and seaworthiness for safety offshore operation. The vessel shall have adequate stability to perform offshore stand-by up to 8 feet of wave. The vessel and its superstructure shall be of all welded aluminium alloy construction. Propulsion shall be by four (4) high-speed marine diesel engines, each driving a fixed pitched propeller, through a shaft and a reverse-reduction gearbox. |
WATER BOAT
She is powered by twin marine diesel engines to give a speed of at least 10 knots in a fully loaded condition at 100% of the net power. Electric power shall be generated at 415 volts, 3 phase 50 hertz by two main generator sets, each of which shall be capable of providing the total electrical load of the vessel. It shall be reliably designed such that the vessel is fully operable even under electrical black-out situation. Main engines shall be arranged for remote control from the bridge such that the followings can be effected:- |
UTILITY TUG
The twin screw vessel is for operation in Unrestricted waters and is designed for multi-purpose roles which, for guidance purposes, are as follows:- a) Towing b) Transport fresh water, diesel oil, stores, materials and equipment. c) Move men and materials between platforms and shore d) Operation to be 12 hours/day continuous operation, capable of remaining on station for a minimum of 14 days. Good manoeuvrability is to be achieved by using twin propellers, twin rudders and transverse bow thruster. Twin manoeuvring consoles are fitted in the wheelhouse stations, forward and aft.The wheelhouse is designed to ensure excellent all-round view as far as practicable. Unobstructed view to the aft deck is ensured by fitting lower level windows. |
INTERCEPTOR BOAT
The 15-m Interceptor is a high speed boat aimed at attaining, further than the required performance in terms of speed, the best manoeuvrability and seakeeping capability, with special focus on reliability of all equipment and their availability. The boat is equipped with two propulsion systems assuring the required speed and acceleration performance, coupled with a very high manoeuvrability. The first system, based on diesel engines, gearbox and waterjets is the best solution to remove draft limitations, to allow beaching and to assure a great manoeuvring capability. The second system, making use of surface piercing propellers and rudders, assures very good speed performance but operability is limited to minimum draft of 1 meter and beaching would not be advised. |
